Web Portfolio Highlights

(click for full-size screenshot)	CAIT.wri.org (Washington, DC) Status: Live World Resources Institute (WRI) came to me to build a website hosted at the CAIT sub-domain that would highlight the features and utility of that tool. CAIT (Climate Analysis Indicators Tool) is a global climate change information and analysis tool. WRI wanted to create a site that would serve several purposes. First it is an information destination for those interested in use of the tool. Second WRI required that access to the tool be secure and that users of the tool be able to be tracked through an online registration system. Finally, WRI wanted to create an easy-to-use discussion and feedback forum so that those using the tool may trade information and ideas. The CAIT site uses PHP for control logic and is backed by a MySQL database. Site design was governed by the existing style of the WRI website located at http://www.wri.org.
(click for full-size screenshot)	American Innovative, LLC (Boston, MA) Status: Live For the creation of the American Innovative website I was my own client. I needed a snappy marketing website to highlight the features and functionality of the product line offered by my company, American Innovative. Design input was provided by a partner and the site was hand-built primarily in HTML with a nominal amount of PHP used for some areas. For this site the use of a drop-down menuing system was deemed appropriate and a third-party product, developed in DHTML, was integrated into the site to achieve the desired effect.
(click for full-size screenshot)	RhondaSchaller.com (New York, NY) Status: Live Rhonda Schaller is a New York-based artist who came to me to develop a website that would highlight her artwork, writing and various other pursuits. For this project the graphic design of the product played a much larger role in the overall development of the project. Three design directions were presented to Rhonda of which ultimately elements were borrowed from each to form the final design seen here. I am particularly fond of this site in that I feel that its look and feel does a nice job of capturing the artist's style. RhondaSchaller.com was hand-coded in HTML with PHP used to automatically create the portfolio galleries for easy maintenance. A custom-developed Flash movie forms the site's entry point.
(click for full-size screenshot)	UnicoSports.com (Westlake, OH) Status: Live Unico Sports, a distributor of super high-quality custom-design Soccer Uniforms, came to me to develop a professional marketing website that would highlight the company's product line. Again, working with professional graphic resources, an iterative approach was taken to establish the final design direction of the site which you see here. One of the most interesting and challenging elements of this site's development was the creation of the custom uniform creation tool developed as a Flash movie. This tool allows prospective customers to "virtually" create the look and feel for the uniform they are contemplating ordering. Here, again, my client desired a Flash-based splash page which was also custom developed. The remainder of the site was developed using hand-coded HTML.
